     Around the world, people have different ideas about what good table manners are. In China, people
usually share the same dishes. You eat with chopsticks and you shouldn't wave them around when you
aren't eating. You shouldn't talk when you are eating.
     When you take food from one dish on the table, you should try not to be noisy. When you go to the
restaurants to eat with your friends, people in America usually share the cost. But in China, one person
usually pays for everyone. And in China, it's OK to be noisy in a restaurant. If the restaurant isn't noisy,
people may think it's not very good. When you pay the check, you don't leave any money for the waiter.
