You want to know some information about our National Stadium----the Bird's Nest. Now, I'd like to introduce something about it to you.

It lies in the northern part of Beijing, the Bird's Nest will cover an area of 258,000 square meters and can hold up to 90,000 spectators. It began to be built in December 2003 and will be completed in March 2008.

According to the design, it will look like a bird's nest made of tree branches. During the 2008 Olympic games, the track and field events and football matches will be held here. After the 2008 Olympic games, large events will be held there.
