Many people enjoy watching movies in a cinema. They think the cinema has a better atmosphere(气氛) to enjoy the movie. However, I think people are happier and freer when watching movies at home.

Watching movies at home is more comfortable. To watch movies in a cinema, you have to buy the ticket before you go there for a better seat. However, there is no need for people at home to worry about the ticket. They can enjoy movies at any time they like and with the most comfortable seat. What's more, people watching movies at home wouldn't have to face any traffic problem.

It is free to watch movies at home. In the cinema, we cannot go outside and do something else because the movie won't wait for us. Sometimes, if we miss part of the movie, we cannot follow the story. At home, we can pause(暂时) at any time and go back to watch the part.

All in all, a cinema is a good place to watch movies, but it isn't the best place to enjoy the movies. I think watching movies at home is better.

If you are like me and you love drawing a lot, then I am sure you will love “Drawing with Mark”. “Drawing with Mark” is a great show and Mark is really helpful. Mark gives kids some tips on how to draw and often teaches kids some history about the thing they draw. Kids can also learn three or four fun facts about what they are drawing.

“Happy Tails” is about cats and dogs. Mark show how to draw them and talks about how to look after them, too.

In “A Day with the Dinosaurs”, Mark visits the Museum of Boston and speaks to an expert to learn what the dinosaurs ate and how long they lived. Once there was an English prince called Henry. He liked to study languages, but smiles never came on his face. His father, the king tried to make him happy in every possible way. Yet the young prince was not happy.

One day the king had an interview with a man named Sir Arthur. Sir Arthur told the king, “I have a method to make Prince Henry happy, but you have to send him to the countryside”. At first, the king refused. But Sir Arthur insisted on taking the prince to the country. Finally, the king agreed.

Prince Henry and Sir Arthur went to Sir Arthur’s house. His big yard was divided into two parts— inside yard and outside yard, and the outside yard was a big garden with a flowerbed. Sir Arthur told Henry, “Do you know my flowerbed can talk, and it has a secret?” The prince thought it very strange. Sir Arthur went on, “It tells the secret only to those who watch it every day. Prince Henry looked, but there was no flower, not even a leaf upon it. Then he circled the flowerbed every day. Even when a storm came, he didn’t go inside, so he caught a cold.

Many days passed. The flowerbed was wet, and the warm sun shone upon it. At last, one fine morning, he saw tiny plants coming up.

Space tourism might be the dream of many people on the planet, but a journey to space is not is not as easy as simply buying some tickets at a travel search engine;it is only reserved for the privileged (有特权的) few that can afford the cost. One of the options that impressed me most is the one offered by a company called Space Adventures.

What they have in place is a space tourism program that slows you to travel with the Soyuz to the International Space Station(ISS). The trip starts a few months in advance with intensive training dealing mainly with gravity operations, fight control and survival activities.

When all training is over, your space trip begins. The trip can be planned exactly according to your needs, whether you’re going for scientific research,or simply for an adventure. I doubt whether you will find any other kind of trip that has such a thorough preparation period beforehand.

One of the great things to do,even if it makes your space trip a bit more expensive,is that you could go on a space walk during your trip. That would definitely be a good opportunity to dance outside with your loved one to a slow waltz…Sorry,I forget there's no sound in space!

Whatever option you choose, the only obstacle you might face is the cost. All the other requirements seem to be less than those for getting a visa to a foreign country. Generally your height should be between 160 and 185 cm,your weight between 50 and 95 kg and be in good health.

Finally, in answer to the question you've been wondering about. Granted, space tourism is expensive, but exactly how expensive would a normal scheduled flight to the ISS cost? Would you believe it costs between $30 and $ 40 million? A Russian language course is included!

1.Besides the body requirements, which of the following is most likely to stop someone from going into space?

A. Their knowledge B. The climate

C. The cost D. The visa

2.What does underlined expression “in advance”mean?

A. at least B. ahead of C. make sure D. in all

3.What’s the best title of the passage?

A. Space tourism a dream-made reality?

B. Are you ready for space tourism?

C. How to participate in a space tourism program.

D. Why only a few privileged persons can afford space trips.
