题目内容

根据短文内容,判断正(T)误(F)。
Happiness is for everyone. You don’t need to envy(羡慕,妒忌)those people who have beautiful houses with large gardens and swimming pools or those who have nice cars and a lot of money and so on. Why? Because those who have big houses may often feel lonely and those who have cars may want to walk on the country road in their free time.
In fact, happiness is always around you if you put your heart into it. When you are in trouble at school, your friends will help you; when you study hard at your lessons, your parents will always take good care of your life and your health; when you get success, your friends will say congratulations to you; when you do something wrong, people around you will help you to correct(纠正)it, and when you do something good to others, you will feel happy, too. All these are your happiness. If you notice these things, you can find that happiness is always around you.
小题1:Happiness is always around rich people.
小题2:People are happy because they can walk on the country road in their free time.
小题3:When you get success, people around you will help you correct it.
小题4:When you are in trouble, your friends will help you. We can say “You are happy.”
小题5:You can find our happiness everywhere if you notice good things.

小题1:F
小题2:T
小题3:F
小题4:T
小题5:T

1. F 根据Happiness is for everyone知道每个人都有幸福,而并非总在在富人身边。
2. T 文章说你不要羡慕那些富人,其实他们want to walk on the country road in their free time,他们这样才有感觉开心,故正确。
3. F 根据when you get success, your friends will say congratulations to you可知他们并非帮你改正,而是向你祝贺。
4. T 根据When you are in trouble at school, your friends will help you以及上文happiness is always around you可知此时你是幸福的,故正确。
5. T 从最后一句If you notice these things, you can find that happiness is always around you可知本题正确。(只要你注意好的事情,你会发现幸福就在你的身边,也就是说幸福到处都在)。

“Everything happens for the best,” my mother said whenever things weren’t going my way. “Don’t worry, one day your luck will change.”
Mother was right, as I discovered after I had finished my college education. I had decided to try for a job in radio. One day, I wanted to host(主持) a sports program. I went to Chicago and knocked on the door of every station. But I got turned down every time.
In one station, a kind lady said my problem was that I hadn’t got enough experience. “ Get some work with a small station and work your way up,” she said.
I went back home. I couldn’t get a job there, either. Then my dad told me a businessman had opened a store and needed someone to help him. But again, I didn’t get the job.
I felt really down. “ Your luck will change,” Mom said to me. Dad lent me the car to help me to look for my job. I tried another radio station in Iowa. But the owner, a nice man, told me he had already had someone.
As I left his office, I asked, “How can someone be a sports announcer(播音员) if he can’t get a job in a radio station?”
I was waiting for the lift when I heard the man call. “ What did you mean? Do you know anything about football?” He put me in front of a microphone and asked me to try to imagine that I was giving my opinion on a football game, I succeeded.
On my way home, Mom’s words came back to me, “One day your luck will change, Son. And when it happens, it’ll feel doubly(加倍的) good because of all the hard work you’ve had.” At that moment I knew what just what she meant.
