2019 Summer Theater Camp
This summer camp will enable theater-loving children to develop self-confidence, character building, use of voice and performing skills. Young actors will enjoy a fun-filled theater arts experience taught by four trained professionals in a relaxing environment. Students will learn the basics of creating a strong character on stage and performing in front of a room of people. They will also learn how to sing act and dance in musicals.
Grades 1—5 June 25th—30th 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. $100
Grades 6-11 July 1st—6th 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. $150
(10% off for Riverbank School students)
Lessons:
8:30 a.m.—9:45 a.m. stage movement Ms. Robin smith
10:00 a.m.—11:15a.m. singing & dancing Ms. Taylor Black
11:15 a.m.—noon lunch
noon—1:30 p.m. acting Mr. Kevin Fish & Ms. Taylor Black
1:45 p.m.—3:00 p.m. theater technology Mr. John White
3:00 p.m.—4:00 p.m. costumes (服装) & makeup Mr. Kevin fish
A final show will be put on for families and friends on the evening of the last day of the camp! The camp will be held in the small theater at Riverbank School. Campers must bring their own lunch. Fridges and microwave (微波炉) available. All campers must wear comfortable clothes and shoes that are easy to move in.
