Kate Strully worked on the study while she was at the Harvard School of Public Health. Ms Strully is now a scientist at the State University of New York. She had some information about the income (收入) of some people.
She asked people all over the country some questions about their health and work. Ms Strully checked the information about more than eight thousand people.
