Nowadays，more and more students like to make friends online．They like chatting with their friends，sending e-mails to each other，or even meeting them secretly．
I think making friends online has advantages and disadvantages．The internet can help students make more friends．They can know more try commumcating with each other and express their feelings to net pals instead of classmates．But it takes some students too much time to chat online．It's not good for their studies．Besides，some of them may get cheated．
In my opinion，as middle school students，we'd better not spend too much time making friends online．It's waste of time and it's kind of dangerous for teenagers．We should concentrate more on our studies．We can make friends with people around us．．
