Success is a key goal for most people. We are always trying to find the way to success, which means power, pride and glory (荣誉). There have been many stories of success I was told since I was a child. From then on, I have been hoping to be successful.
What is success? Different people have different opinions. To start with, some people, such as workers and waiters / waitresses, are looking forward to becoming rich, which allows them to buy what they want. They treat it as success. What’s more, some contestants, such as players, sportsmen and singers, are always trying their best to win. As long as they win, they believe that they are stronger than others. Last but not least, there are some other people who enjoy helping others. As the saying goes, the roses in her hand, the flavor (香味) in mine. Through helping others, we can also feel happy and successful.
In my opinion, success is quite simple. It means you can live the life you want and you can feel happy very often. Sometimes, money cannot bring you happiness, and you can’t have the feeling of success, because money is just the tool (工具) to achieve your goal but never the goal. Therefore, look for what you really want and then work hard for it. Then you are close to success.

The H1Nl virus has been spreading world-wide,it is important for us to know how to control it.Please pay attention to the following points:
1.Don't touch your face.Above all, keep your hands away from your eyes, mouth and nose, all of which serve pathways(途径) for the viruses(病毒) to enter your body.
2.Wash your hands. If you have to touch your face, wash your hands, getting under the fingernails for 20 to 30 seconds with hot soap and water before.Soaps with surfactants(表面活性剂) can deal with flu viruses.
3.Cover your nose and mouth. When someone sneezes or coughs, liquid(液体) drops with flu viruses as far as three feet through the air and land on your nose and mouth,so it's best to keep at least an arm's length distance when talking to someone who shows signs of infection(感染).In order to protect others, cover your mouth and nose with a tissue(纸巾) when you cough or sneeze, and clean your hands afterward.Viruses can live for hours,or even longer when on the skin or other surfaces such as keyboards.
4.Consider buying a mask in case you need it in the future. Some research suggests that masks reduce the risk of getting the flu viruses by as much as 80%.But it also suggests that if you don't wash hands, the mask doesn't work well.So wash your hands and use the mask, especially wearing face masks in crowded places is also useful.

Many children use the Internet to get useful knowledge and information, and to relax in their free time. But some of them are not using in a good way. Here are some rules to make sure you are safe and have fun on the Internet.
Make rules for Internet use with your parents. For example, when you can go online, for how long and what activities you can go online.
Don’t give your password (密码) to anyone else, and never leak out the following information---your real name, home address, age, school, phone number or other personal information.
Check with your parents before giving out a credit (信用) card number.
Never send a photo of yourself to someone in e-mail unless your parents say it’s OK.
Check with your parents before going into a chat room. Different chat rooms have different rules and attract different kinds of people. You and your parents must make sure it’s a right place for you.
Never agree to meet someone you met on the Internet without your parent’s permission (允许). Never meet anyone you met on line alone.
Always remember that people online may not be who they say they are. Treat everyone online as strangers.
If something you see or read online makes you uncomfortable, leave the site. Tell a parent or teacher right away.
Treat other people as you’d like to be treated. Never use bad language.

I will never forget one day in my first year in high school. I was sitting on the stairs, putting my head in my hands and crying out to my parents because I would never be able to save enough money for college. My parents tried to comfort me, but it seemed impossible to save$64,268, the cost for the private college that I wanted to enter.
Now let me tell you the amazing story of how I saved this sum of money. It all began with a newspaper route in Ankeny, IA. I hated delivering newspapers that route, but decided to continue for six months until my family moved to Wausau. With a few dollars from my newspaper route, a small nest egg began to develop. My next job was working in an athletic company. The money continued to grow very slowly. Half a year later, I worked for a fruit store. Then, when I was in junior high school, I began to be a waitress at Denny’s restaurant. It was hard work, but the money began to roll.
By the time my senior year arrived, I had saved a large sum of money. This was encouraging, but I knew that I would also need some help, so I began to apply for scholarships. Sometimes I got upset because I was rejected again and again. Then, my first scholarship offer came in,$2,000 a year to play tennis. This is only a small sum of money at a school that costs about$14,000 a year, but it was a start. Several other scholarships also came and soon I was up to have$9,050 in scholarships. With scholarships and savings, I saved enough money for my first year.
Several years later, I was off to college. Because of careful saving, I did not have to work during the school year.
