According to studies, most people have a sleeping problem. A new study shows more sunlight, especially（特别）in the morning can help you sleep well.

A team of researchers（研究人员）from New York, US, did the study reported Yahoo news.

The team did a study on 109 office workers in the US. They found that some of the workers saw lots of light during the morning hours, between 8 am and lunchtime. They found that they had a better sleep than others. They also fell asleep quickly at night.

Why is sunlight so important to your sleep? Researchers say it helps set your “body clock”. When there is less and less sunlight at the close of the day, your body starts to make melatonin（褪黑素）. It makes you feel sleepy. Your body makes the most melatonin at night. During the day, sunlight tells your body to make less melatonin, which keeps you awake.

Researchers suggest（建议）we see 15 minutes of sunlight in the morning. It can help balance（平衡）the melatonin in our body.
