Long ago there was a man with the name Smith. He made a living by making caps. One day he went to sell his caps. He went through a forest. There were many monkeys in it. Tom had once worked in a city office in London, but now he was out of work．He had a large family to support, so he often found himself in difficulty．He often visited Mr．White on Sundays, told him about his troubles, and asked for two or three pounds．

There is one word you must learn before you visit the USA. That is “Freeze”. Remember it has a special meaning besides the usual one. It means “stand still and don’t move”.
