Global（全球的）warming is a big problem now. One of the best things to stop it is to plant more trees. Trees can take in CO2 in the air. China is doing a great job of "greening" the world. A team of scientists at Boston University used a special camera and found that the global leaf area had increased by 5 percent since the early 2000s. And China was responsible for 25% of that. For example, since 1962, China has planted trees in Saihanba, Hebei Province. It was once a desert. But now, China has turned this place into the country's largest man—made forest.

Ant Forest, a program in Alipay app, also plays a part of planting trees. It gives users points for doing eco—friendly activities on the Alipay platform（平台）to encourage people to live a low—carbon（低碳）life. More than 55 million trees have been planted in this way. Ant Forest is very popular with online users. Now 230 million people are planting virtual trees on their mobile phones.
