Many American children love their mothers’apple pies（苹果派）. So do adults! Apple pie is one of the most famous desserts (甜食)in America.

You can buy it in lots of restaurants. The apple pie is easy to make, so many people cook it at home, too. You just need apples, flour (面粉), sugar, butter and spices（香料）.

To make an apple pie, first peel and cut up the apples into pieces. Then mix them with spices and put them in a pie tin. Next, mix butter, sugar and flour. Put the mixture on the apple pieces and bake the pie for about 45 minutes. The smell of apple pie cooking is great. People usually eat apple pie with ice cream or cream.
