Let the children learn what all educated persons must some day learn, how to measure their own understanding, and how to know what they know or do not know.

If you put a buzzard(秃鹰) in a cage without a roof(顶棚), the bird will be a prisoner. Even though it can fly, it can’t fly through the open roof. The reason is that a buzzard always begins a flight from the ground with a run of 3 or 4 meters.
