题目内容

Many people like to travel by plane , but I don't like it because an airport is usually far from  the city. You have to get there early and wait for hours for the plane to take off and it is often late. You can't open the windows. You can't choose the food. Planes are fast, but they still take hours  to go out of the airport and into the city.
I like traveling by train. I think trains  are safe. Railway stations  are usually in cities. When you are late for a train, you can catch another one. You can walk  around in the train and open the windows. You can see many interesting things on your way. I know it takes a little more time. I  also like cars. You can start your journey when you want to, and you don't need to get to a railway station or a bus stop. also you can carry many things with you in a car. My mother was telling me about how she and her family got their first television when she was a teenager. Of course it was black and white. She said she only watch it at night. She doesn’t remember over watching it in the morning or afternoon. When I was young we had only about 3 or 4 different channels(频道). My bothers, my sisters and I would sometimes fight(打架) about which channel to watch. But we usually enjoyed the same shows. Now we can get hundreds of channels on TV. I can’t believe it! There are channels with old films, cooking, fishing and so on. It’s surprising! There is a channel for everything. I wonder how much my bothers, my sisters and I would fight if we had hundreds of channels when I was a child. Of course we had only one television set. My best friend Jack goes on vacation a lot and always brings me something expensive. I don’t have enough money to get him anything every time. What should I do?
Bob
Souvenirs don’t have to cost a lot. Show him you are thinking of him. That’s important. Imagine how excited he would be if he got a postcard from you!

I have a crush on a movie star. I really wish I did not. I have had dreams about him, and I even find myself wishing to be his wife. Are there any ways to stop this?
Alice
A star is cute, but what else? What do you think is important for person? Being good-looking or kind-hearted? Remember that the star in the movie probably isn’t what he is like in real life. So don’t let yourself spend too much time on the star. Staying with friends or taking more activities will help you get him out of your mind.
Miller
I’m always arguing with my parents. I hate it, but I can’t help it. What can I do?
Harry

Sometimes it seems that our parents just don’t know us well, doesn’t it? When I’m arguing with my parents, I usually take a walk and calm myself down. It gives me time to clear my head. That means I can talk to them and solve(v.解决) the problem. Have a try—parents are easier to talk with when you are cool and calm.
