Kate had to make a decision(决定) because there were different parties on the same day. One was the birthday party of her friend. The other was a party to celebrate her grandparents’ 50thwedding anniversary（结婚纪念）. Her grandmother told her, “I will not be unhappy if you go to your friend’s party.
