Shakespeare said the eyes are the windows of the soul. It is true that you can know a lot from eye_________

When the eyes move up and to the left, it shows that the person is _________ up some images in his memory. It is a strong sign that he is telling the truth because most images are about things that happened in the past.

If someone is looking left to his ear, it means the person is (回忆) some _________ in his memory. For example, when you ask your friends to describe what their doorbell sounds like, their eyes move to their left ear. Even if they don't have a doorbell, they will still look left.

Looking to the up right show the creation of images. This is a sign that the person is lying to you. However, many people know this. You shouldn’t try to ask directly. For example, if you want to know how a friend_________, you may ask where he had parked his car.

Looking to _________ ear is a sign creating a sound. There aren't many examples about it. However, you could try asking your friend to say a really loud noise. Then you will find his or her eyes move.

Amelia Lee is an astronaut who will soon be leaving for Mars. Conard Spark interviewed her for Space Tomorrow magazine.

Conrad: Amelia, you’ll be leaving for Mars next Friday. How are the preparations going?

Amelia: Very well. We’ve done years of training to get ready for this journey.

Conrad: How many people are in the crew?

Amelia: There are five of us. The journey to Mars will take nine months, so the five of us will be working and living together in our spaceship for all of that time.

Conrad: That’s a long time!

Amelia: Yes, it is, and in our training, we’ve learnt how to keep our bodies and minds healthy for that length of time. When we arrive on Mars, we’ll meet the people who are living in the Mars Colony.

Conrad: How long will you stay on Mars?

Amelia: We’ll stay there for a year and a half. We’ll do scientific experiments there, and we’ll explore the area around the colony. Then we’ll return to Earth. That will take nine months, too.

Conrad: So, next week, you’ll be saying good bye to your family and friends for three years!

Amelia: Yes. That will be sad, but we all agree that I’m doing a good thing.

Conrad: How do you think you’ll feel next Friday? Will you be nervous?

Amelia: Well, I might feel a little nervous. But mostly I’ll be concentrating on the things I have to do. I have to make sure everything is safe and the spaceship is working properly.

Conrad: I wish you good luck and safe travels.
