In the 1960s there was a revolution in fashion. For the first time teenagers had good jobs and more money to spend on clothes.Young people became the leaders of fashion.
Hair was important, too.For the first time, men had long hair like the Beatles.Girls usually had very short hair, shorter than their boy friends'.
Then in the 1960s and early 1970s fashion changed again.Young women wore long, loose dresses or trousers suits and men often wore jeans and T-shirts.But all the young people still listened to the fashion world. The fashion world was important to them.
The 1980s saw another big change in fashion.Teenagers started the fashion for punk clothes and brightly coloured hair styles.
But in the 90s things people wore were in many different styles.Trousers could be tight or narrow.Or they could have very wide legs.Trainers were fashionable, but so were shoes with high heels for women.Teenage girls wore mini-skirts one day and very long skirts the next day. Many young people didn't like big department stores and they bought their clothes in small shops. The idea is that people dressed to please themselves.
But what will we wear six years from now? Perhaps in 2010 we'll all wear uniform.Who knows?

A plant makes its own food in its leaves. Water comes to the leaves through the roots (根). Air gets into the leaves through very small holes. The green coloring in the leaves uses the water and air to make food for the plant. It also needs sunshine because a plant can make food only when the sun is shining.
Animals and people could not live without green plants. They both eat plants. People and some animals also eat the meat of some animals, and these animals eat plants.
