One in four Chinese primary school students say they are too busy to eat fruit every day, while many dislike fruit for the simple reason that their __16__tell them to eat it.
That is the result of a recent survey __17__the Chinese Association for Student Nutrition & Health Promotion(中国学生营养和健康促进协会), who last month issued a questionnaire among 1,500 children in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. They__18___ 28 percent didn't eat fruit every day and of those who did, one in seven did not eat enough.
Among students who didn't eat fruit every day, 50 percent said it was because they "didn't have time" and 40 percent of those who didn't like fruit said it was because "my parents____19___ me to".
"Fruit is a natural source of many nutritional elements(营养元素), can balance a person's nutritional intake and help to ___20___overweight(超重)," says Association director Du Yuxia.
He says about 20 percent of primary school students in Beijing and Guangzhou are overweight, while the figure is __21___30 percent in Shanghai.
Hu Xiaoqi, a nutrition expert with the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), believes a student should eat at least 150 grams of fruit a day. Moreover, fruit juice is not an adequate substitute because the fruit __22__ contains more fiber and vitamins than juices, which are usually high in sugar and contain preservatives.
Hu says primary school students should be encouraged to eat one or two fruits every day. ___23___many students found they didn't have time to eat fruit before breakfast or in the evening, they should be encouraged to ___24__fruit to school and eat it during class breaks . Finally, she suggests that parents encourage their children to eat fruit, instead of forcing them.
Ma Guansheng, deputy ___25____of the CDC's Nutrition and Food Safety Institution(营养和食品安全机构), says: "6-12 years old is a crucial time for physical development. Children at this age need an adequate and balanced nutritional supply to guarantee the normal growth of the body."

This is not a diet. It’s a simple way to lose weight. And you don’t even have to give up the food you love or join a gym (参加体育锻炼). You just follow some habits that thin people have. Keep them, and you’ll become thin.
(1) Wake - up
When you wake up in the morning, sit up slowly without using your hands. With legs straight out, bend(弯曲) forward until you feel sore(酸痛) in your back. It will burn about 10 calories.
(2) Start with soup
When you have a meal, order a clear soup, and have it before having the main food. In this way, you’ll feel fuller, so you’ll eat less when the main food comes.
(3) An apple (or more) a day
Apples are full of fiber(纤维) and water, so your stomach will want less. The study shows that people who eat at least three apples a day lose weight.
(4) Stand up and walk around
Every time you use the mobile phone, stand up and walk around. Heavy people sit on average (平均) two and a half hours more each day than thin people. This skill is very important as standing up and walking around will burn 50 0r more calories.

Hu Yaohui, a schoolgirl in Zhejiang province, didn’t want to speak or eat for a week. She kept worrying about her scores on the exam. “I can’t stop thinking about my place in the class,” she said. “I feel stressed out.”
Hu is not the only one who faces stress. According to a recent survey conducted by Wuhan University of Hubei province, 70 percent of the 2,000 students who are going to take the college and high school entrance exams feel under pressure (压力).
Stress is a normal physical response (反应) to things that make people feel worried or break their balance of life in some way.
Stress isn’t always bad. Sometimes, people’s stress is important during emergency situations, such as when a driver has to stop his car to avoid an accident. Sometimes, stress can help people do their best — like while getting ready before a big competition or exam.
However, too much or long-term stress gives people a stress overload (负荷过多). People with stress overloads may have problems remembering or concentrating on things. They are quick to get angry or lose patience. They may even have other problems, such as sleeping problems, headaches and often getting colds.
The most helpful way to deal with stress overloads is to learn how to manage the stress. For example, you might manage it by getting a good night’s sleep, or by exercising every day.
Another good way to deal with stress is to ask parents or friends for help. Everyone has stress. For many people, stress is so common that it has become a way of life. Don’t be too shy to tell others that you are having a hard time. They may comfort you or give you some useful advice. Sometimes just sharing your problems with someone else can make you feel better.

Today Newtown is a clean place, but many years ago there were millions of rats there. The rats even attacked (攻击 ) the cats and dogs. Sometimes many of them tried to bite men or women at night. The rats were very large in size and they harmed (伤害 ) many people.
The city office ordered every one to kill rats. However, most people were lazy, so they did not kill many rats. The city office could do nothing with the citizens and could do nothing with the rats, either. Some time later, they had to pay some money for each dead rat. That made the people very happy. They at once began to kill rats. They got as many dead rats as they could. And some of them even stopped their own work to kill rats because they could get more pay. Every day a city official(官员 ) put all the dead rats together. He was very busy doing that, because sometimes a man brought hundreds of them in one day. Two weeks later, there were not so many rats in the city as before, but people still brought many dead rats to the city office. The city officials felt surprised at this but at last they found out people were stealing the dead rats they had collected.
