Every day we produce waste and it does harm to our environment. In order to protect the environment, we should sort waste. Here are the reasons. First, it can reduce the amount of waste. What’s more, waste can be recycled. Waste sorting takes energy to change garbage into something that’s good. It’s better than throwing things away or burning them. It’s very good for the environment.

       Since waste sorting has so many advantages, our government should make rules to encourage people to do so. Different dustbins should be placed in public places so that people can leave their sorts rubbish in them.

       In a word, I think all of us should act and make our city more and more beautiful.
