Today is my birthday. To me this year’s birthday is a special day. I’ll never forget it.
This morning the head teacher read out English marks in the class. I did very badly in every subject. At that moment I nearly cried and I decided I would not have a birthday party.
On my way home, a few classmates behind me camp up and said, “Shall we help you with your English in the classroom this evening?” “Thank you. That’s a good idea.” I said with a smile.
After supper I went to school in a hurry. When I opened the door of the classroom, I was surprised to see all the desks were put together, on which were cakes, candles and beautiful gifts.
