【题目】
As we know it is important for our health to have a good eating habit.
But what do you think can affect it? The custom of your country., the different kinds of food, or just your personal interest? The last study in theJournal of American College Health told us that in fact, the environment where we live also plays a role in eating.
Some students, male or female, live in dormitories (宿舍), and otherslive off campus (校园). So according to the different environment they have, researchers at Washington State University got some data(数据) and compared with daily food choices. They found there were big differences in the consumption(消耗) of fruit and vegetables, fish, unsweetened cereal, white bread, cookies and beer.
Basically, many students like to eat the food that is most available where they live. And they are strongly influenced by eating habits of their peers (同龄人). Men have more beer, meat and white bread than women. Women consume more diet soda.
The reason is very simple. Because we are social animals and generally likely to make a meal of whatever everybody else is having. So some experts advise that if you're trying to lose weight but your friends think pizza and beer is a balanced meal, then the problem is coming. And what you need to do is to change your eating habits or pack your bags.
