Now, Cookie Monster has changed a lot. Sometimes he even eats fruit and vegetables. Another change is that, now, millions of kids watch the show on phones and computers instead of on TV.
In 1973 Sesame Street was one of two TV shows for little children. Now it's competing with 84 kids' shows on TV. Yet Sesame Street still holds its own. It is popular among kids aged 2 to 5 with 850,000 viewers per TV episode(集).
Half the viewers watch it in digital formats (数码格式). They can watch iton some 50 apps, like Sesame Street. org, PBSKids.org, Netfiix, Amazon, iTunes.
