Note-taking can ,您身边的高考专家be done by anyone who listens to a teacher, but there is a skill of effective note-taking that requires some efforts before and after class as well as during it!
Before class, be sure to read through the notes of the previous week. And then you’ll know ahead of time that you haven’t really understood what was covered in that week’s lesson, and you can go into the new class with a basic understanding of what has been learned before. Read through the reading materials before class and make a list of anything you don’t understand so that you can raise these questions in class.
During the class, focus on what the teacher says. Don’t get distracted (分心) by classmates, or whatever is happening outside the window. You need to be clear about the teacher’s words in order to quickly analyze (分析) which of the materials you think is important. Develop your skills of shorthand. This will enable you to take notes properly and fast.
After class, write up your notes into a clear form so that you can easily read them. Doing this while the information is fresh in your mind will remind you of anything that you remember but haven’t made a note of. Test your understanding by asking yourself a couple of questions about the lesson and see if you can answer them. If not, read through your notes again.
Developing note-taking skills will not only help you achieve your better understanding at school, it’ll also help you in taking instructions when you’re in a workplace, so it’s worth spending some time in developing a good technique.
