I fell in love with Yosemite National Park the first time I saw it, when I was 13 . My parents took us there for camping. I began working in journalism(新闻工作) when I was eight. It was my mother’s idea. She wanted me to “make something” of myself, and decided I had better start young if I was to have any chance of keeping up with the competition.

　  During the summer holidays in this year, I thought I should do something meaningful instead of staying at home. So I got a job at the KFC fast food restaurant and working there as a cleaner. I worked seven hour a day for three weeks.

　　The job was hard and bored and seemed endless, which made me tired that I nearly gave it up half way. After all, I stuck to it with determination.

　　Every day I started off from work early in the morning and got home later in the evening. Finally I finished the job until the new term began.

　　Now, I understand that labor means. I think it is really a successful experience.
