“Tell me what you were like when you were my age,” I asked my mother one afternoon. She looked up, 21 at my question. After a long time she answered, “I was 22 like you. After thinking thoroughly about it, I find that life is worth everything. For me, life is not just about having a relationship, companionship, good friends, money or a job that I like.
