However, a part-time job has some disadvantages．For example, you may lose time needed for sleep, rest, study, club activities, and recreation．Working several hours a day consumes a lot of time and energy and may affect study．As a result, you may find it hard to adjust to what the school expects from you as well as what your employers has the right to expect．
Because of the advantages and disadvantages of a part – time job, you have to strike the balance between school and the job．As a student, acquiring more knowledge, especially more book learning, is your first important task．Although a part-time job can do you a world of good, you should not spend too much time on it．
