A Shelter for the Homeless

Last summer I was a volunteer (志愿者) at a shelter for the homeless, a place for homeless people to sleep at night. I wasn’t working that summer and was  36  only two classes in summer school, so I had some  37  time.

Three nights a week, I  38  in the kitchen of the shelter along with four other volunteers. We planned and  39  for 45 people hot meals  40  vegetables, chicken, fish and fruit. The homeless people  41  this good food because many of them usually didn’t eat well.

Several times on my way to work, I passed a gentleman who I supposed homeless．He had a lot of his possessions 36 down to his bike and held a cardboard sign that said he was a 37 who doesn’t drink or do drugs, but would 38 anything that could be given．He usually has 39 on and is listening to the radio．He is always 40 his own business, often reading 41 ．I’ve never seen him  42 “begging”.

Jonathan James looks like just another kid about to graduate from high school. But this 19-year-old Swede is anything but ordinary, from the computer in his parents’ home he helps the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) find out the world’s most wanted cyber criminals (网络犯罪分子).

Jonathan first made headlines when he and another Swede, Fredrik Bjoerck, found out the maker of the “Melissa” virus (病毒) in March 1999.
