The story is told of a foreign student studying in an English-speaking country. She was reading a book by the window when she heard someone shout“look out!”She put her head out to see what was going on. Just then a board came flying down from above, missing her head by just a few feet. She pulled her head in quickly. Then out of anger, she carefully put her head out again and looking up. There was a man doing repairs.
“Didn't you hear me call out?”he asked.
