Mike: My favourite festival is April Day. It is on April 1^st . I enjoy playing tricks on my friends on this special day. If you play tricks on someone, you are usually happy and say “April Fool!”

Linda: I like Thanksgiving Day best. It is on the 4^th Thursday in November. It’s a day for people to give thanks for the good things they have. I enjoy the festival because my family can get together and have a big dinner. We eat turkey together.

Jane: My favourite festival is in October. It’s a day for Children, I think. I can wear special costumes(服饰) and frightening masks(面具). We can get a lot of sweets and candies. There is also a party in the evening. What festival is it, do you know?

Andy: Of course I enjoy Christmas. I can have a long holiday at Christmas. And I like Father Christmas. We have parties and I get lots of presents. I enjoy making the Christmas tree with father.

Liu Gang: Most Chinese children like Chinese New Year best. So do I. I can see all my cousins at the festival. And I have new clothes to wear. I can watch fireworks and eat nice food. And I get lots of red packets.
