Once there was a family of rabbits． 1 Every evening the rabbits loved to see the big round moon reflected(反射) in the water．
One day,some elephants stopped to drink the water in the pool． 2
The rabbits weren't very happy．“Those elephants are too big,”said the oldest rabbit．“They will squash(把……压扁) us with their big feet．We must tell them to go away．” 3
That night the smallest rabbit hid(躲藏) in the grass by the pool．When the elephants came to drink,the rabbit called out,“I'm the moon and this pool is mine．You are drinking my water!”
