The Florida sun baked my shoulders as I worked along the I-595 freeway near Fort Lauderdale, picking up rubbish. I paused to  36  the sweat off  my forehead and look up at the cloudless blue sky.“  37  can’t it rain?” I thought. That would   38  things down.

When I was 8, a gentleman came to my orphanage（孤儿院）and taught us how to do woodworking projects.

I remember my first project—a small table. I was so      of it that I looked upon it as if I had created a(an)       . It was absolutely beautiful and it had taken me six weeks to       it. The first time I remember noticing I remember noticing the crossing guard was when he waved to me as I drove my son to school. My Experience in a Free School

At first I couldn't believe it! There were no __26   in rows; no bells rang; no one had to go to __27  . Although we all lived “in”, __28   made us go to bed at a certain time; there was no “lights out”.
