     It's Monday today. Oh, I don't like Monday because I'll have to go back to school again after the
weekend. Tuesday is not so bad. I usually play tennis with my friends after school. On Wednesday
evening I don't go out. I stay at home and do my homework. I like Thursday because the next day is
Friday. I always go out on Friday-maybe to the movie.
      I love the weekend. On Saturdays I stay in bed until (直到) lunchtime, and I sometimes go to the
shops in the afternoon. In the evening I go to a club---there are good bands every Saturday. Then on
Sundays I go to my friend's house or she comes to my house. I usually visit my grandmother for an hour
in the afternoon. Then the weekend is over (结束)  and it's Monday. . . and I feel bad again!

     It was already late when we started going to the next town. It was about 15 miles away on the other
 side of the hill. There we felt sure that we would find a bed for the night. Darkness fell along the narrow

     It was about eight o'clock in the morning. Jane was on her way to school. She was walking on 
Prince Road. Suddenly, she saw a small blue car coming very fast. When the red light was on, the river 
wanted to stop but he could not; The car crashed into a lamp post on the pavement.    
     Jane saw that the driver was badly hurt. Blood was coming out of his head. He was in great pain.
